Make your way further up the main road through denmark and you should see the BP Fuel station on your right, cross the road and go above the fuel station and past Cols Mechanics, there you should see the Denmark Veterinary Clinic, with its artwork on display. This beautiful artwork was also painted by the exquiset artist Sobrane who painted the IGA mural.
At this point you can either continue the walk further up the hill and deeper into town or you can make your way down the gently sloping hill back to Berridge park and your car. If your street art thirst has not been quenched you can walk further up the hill towards two more artworks. The first of these is found on the Telstra communications building beside the Library and theatre.
Continue up Denmark main road and around to the right, passing 31 On The Terrace. Soon after, you should pass The Sacred Tree and see the Denmark Bakery, in between these 2 beautiful shops lies an amazing display of colour in the form of The Sacred Owl.
Just below the Denmark Surf Shop you can find the denmark laundromat, the side of this building is alive with colour, displaying a parrot and a large wave.
Make your way up South Coast Highway into town and you will see the Denmark Surf Shop on your left across the road. Beside the surf shop there is a small alleyway, this is where many Pelicans and Swans relax and take a dip in the inlet sadly only in painting form.
After Seeing the beautiful art that spreads to the entirety of the IGA side wall, continue to make your way up and around Strickland street to the Denmark Gelato Co. and Carters Real Estate. In the ally to the left of Carters, you will find these vibrant purple lilies. Please be aware of cars when loitering in the alley, as it leads to the BWS and has mild traffic.
Continuing under the bridge and through the park along Hollings Road you come across the IGA Xpress. As you climb the grass from the bridge you begin to see the beautiful artwork peaking around the brick corners of the Denmark little IGA. Following around the corner you see the full extent of the truly wondrous artwork that was hand painted by the talented artist Sobrane.
Continuing to your right, you can make your way to the underside of the Denmark bridge. Passing the gazebo on the far side of the park, in the direction of town and the main bridge. Make your way down a path through the grass and to the Denmark bridge. Looking to your left as you pass underneath, you see the amazing graffiti art.
We suggest parking at Berridge park carpark to begin this walk. The art trail begins behind the ablutions block in Berridge park, which is clearly visible from the carpark. Here you can see this stunning painting of sea inspired creatures only a step away from the river.
